Tuesday, November 3 is Election Day. Polls are open from 7 AM to 7 PM, and if you’re in line by 7 PM, stay in line, because you’ll still be able to vote.
On Election Day you must vote at the polling place assigned to your precinct. This is different from early voting, when you could go to any early voting center. Below is every polling place in Richland County, listed by precinct.
Find your polling place in 3 steps
- Find your precinct. It’s printed on your voter registration card. No card? Look yourself up at scVOTES.gov.
- Find it in the list below. City of Columbia wards come first, then all other precincts A–Z. Some precincts share a location and are listed together (for example, “Satchelford & Cooper”).
- Bring a photo ID: SC driver’s license or DMV ID card, SC voter registration card with photo, federal military ID, or U.S. passport.
Voting absentee? Your ballot must reach the Richland County Voter Registration & Elections Office by 7 PM on Election Day: 300 Columbia Mall Blvd., Suite 210 (the old JC Penney).
Live in the Lexington County part of Columbia? Your polling place isn’t on this list. Check scVOTES.gov or call Lexington County Elections at (803) 785-8362.
